When does registration end? Please do not mail registration forms after 7/31/08. Race Day Registration is from 6:00-7:00 a.m. Registration closes at 7:00 a.m. SHARP! On-line registration ends 7/31/08 at midnight.
When do the races start? Both the 30K Run and the 30K Relay start at 7:30 a.m.
When & where is the packet pickup? Packet Pickup is Friday, August 1, 3:00–7:00 p.m. at the Lac Qui Parle State Park Headquarters and Saturday race morning at 6:00-7:00 a.m.
Do I need a state park sticker to run the race? A state park sticker is only needed if you camp in Lac Qui Parle State Park or enter the park on the west side of the lake.
Where can I park? Parking is at the southwest corner of the junction of Chippewa County Rds 32 & 33. There is a tan shed that you will park by. Both the start and the finish are walking distance from parking. The starting line is about 50 yards north of the junction of Co. Rds 32 & 33. The finish line is about 30 yards south of the junction of Co. Rds. 32 & 33.
Will there be toilets? There will be toilets in the parking area by the start & finish. There will be toilets by the Relay 10K AND 20K Exchanges. In addition, just before MILAN bridge (the blue bridge before MILE 8) there is a toilet in the trees on the left side of the road (kind of hard to see). Next there is a toilet at approximately MILE 10 by Boyd’s Landing. Lastly at the dam at MILE 16 there is a toilet.
Will there be emergency services? There will be emergency medical services on bicycle and motorcycle as well as an ambulance within minutes of the runners.
Where are the water stops? Water stops are approximately every 2 miles. Please DRINK! Please download a map for the locations of the water stations.
When does timing stop? 12:00 Noon.
Will there be refreshments after the race? Yes, at the finish line and up by the stage at the state park headquarters.
When is the awards ceremony? The awards ceremony will be immediately after the last finisher and it will be located at the tent by the state park headquarters overlooking the lake.

RELAY TEAM INFORMATION
-Drop bags for cloths will be provided.
-Please use bus transportation to relay exchanges. There is no parking at the 1st Relay exchange. Also excessive traffic will be dangerous for the runners and ruin the beautiful views of the lake and the wildlife.
-Leg one of the relay teams will start with the solo 30K Runners at 7:30 a.m..
-Leg two of the relay teams will report (immediately after the gun) to the bus parked near the starting line.
-****LEG 3 SHOULD ALSO BE READY AT THE STARTING LINE AT 7:30 a.m AT THE BUS BY THE START (junction Co.Rd 32 & 33) and bus will shuttle you to the 20K Relay Exchange.
-transportation back to main parking area will be provided from each relay exchange.
-transportation is being considered to shuttle runners and spectators around the lake to optimize viewing and to reduce traffic on the course. Details will be provided later.
SPECTATOR VIEWING TIPS:
-a nice viewing area would be just beyond first relay zone at about mile 6.5 at the curve there is a gravel road with a parking area on the west side.
-west of Milan Bridge (the blue bridge) just beyond Mile 8
-Boyd’s Landing at about Mile 10
-the Scenic Overlook at the 20K Relay Exchange
-by the Dam at Mile 16 there is a little park on the south side of the road.
-by the Scenic Overlook on Chippewa Co. Rd. 32 at Mile 18 and lastly at the finish.
-PLEASE AVOID EXCESSIVE DRIVING ON THE RUNNING COURSE.
